The 2026 National Security and Enforcement 150 awards honor leaders who demonstrate a commitment to collaboration and drive effective solutions for federal agencies.   

WOODBRIDGE, Va., September 5, 2025 — Joe Re, S����tv’s General Manager, Maritime, was recognized among 150 honorees in OrangeSlices’ article titled “Meet the 2026 Engage National Security and Enforcement 150: Where Connection Fuels Impact.”

The new fiscal year brings big expectations. With an administration prioritizing efficiency, AI-driven innovation, and product-focused delivery, the way government and industry work together will matter more than ever. The 2026 National Security And Enforcement 150 honorees are those leaders. Nominated and selected by their peers, they are recognized not for their titles, but for how they show up. These individuals are already shaping how National Security and Enforcement agencies – across the Department of Homeland Security, State Department, Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation and more – deliver on behalf of the people they serve. As we prepare to begin this new fiscal year, they are the leaders others look to for guidance, collaboration, and momentum.

What Sets Engage Leaders Apart? 

Nominees were evaluated using a prescribed rubric, with the following six characteristics serving as core evaluation criteria. These qualities reflect what it truly means to lead with purpose, collaboration, and impact in today’s Federal environment:

Open Communication – They share insights-through events, published thought pieces, or open platforms like LinkedIn – because they believe transparency and shared knowledge drive progress.

Mission-Focused Thinking – Their perspective extends beyond organizational walls. They prioritize the needs of the communities they serve, actively seeking feedback and collaboration to drive better outcomes.

Reliable Partnership – They lead with clarity, humility, and accountability. These individuals are trusted partners who understand their role – and the roles of others – and consistently deliver on shared goals.

Community Presence – These leaders are actively involved. Whether at events, in working groups, or through mentorship, they show up, contribute, and help lift the entire ecosystem.

Perspective-Seeking – Engaged leaders welcome input from a wide range of stakeholders – including users, partners, and community voices – to inform more complete, inclusive, and effective solutions.

Innovation-Minded – They challenge the status quo. By championing new technologies, processes, and ideas, they help drive progress and adaptability in an increasingly complex environment.

These characteristics were defined as being drivers to Engage GovCon and provide all leaders across government and industry a model for how to collaborate, engage and thrive.   

Michael Fry sits down with Federal News Network podcast host Eric White, to discuss how S����tv supports the US Space Force mission of data interoperability across the entire Department of Defense.

WOODBRIDGE, Va., May 5, 2025&�Բ�����;—&�Բ�����;S����tv, a leader in providing information technology, engineering, program management, C5ISR, and cybersecurity support services, announced today that Michael Fry, S����tv’s General Manager, Space Division, was featured as a guest on Federal News Network’s Space Hour Podcast episode “Interoperability to Become Even More Crucial in Space Force Missions” where he discusses the key progress made by the U.S. Space Force since its inception five years ago, how S����tv supports its mission through its work on the meshONE-T contract and his predictions for the future of space.

In the podcast, Fry shares that interoperability, the ability for data to be shared across systems, is relatively new to the Department of Defense and is the cornerstone of S����tv’s work on the meshONE-T contract for the U.S. Space Force. Prior to this concept, data was siloed to its relevant mission and network constraints prevented large amounts of data from being transported quickly. Additionally, Fry shares that now network building can accommodate large transfers of data securely by incorporating new technologies including segment routing, ST-WAN, IPV6, and zero trust architecture.

“We are being asked to connect systems, connect factories, connect commercial entities in their [development] environments and the capabilities that are moving missions forward in their operational environments, said Fry. “So, they can move the data back and forth, create new capabilities in the dev and push those out to ops so the space force can really get the job done.”

A takeaway from the discussion was how cybersecurity will play a crucial role as large amounts of mission-critical data are transported across the Department of Defense. Fry shares the challenges of data security and emphasizes the need for data encryption for data in transport as well as data tagging. Fry concludes that insider threats are real and emphasizes the need for improved network monitoring to track users and prevent unintentional threats to the network.

In the article, Porter emphasizes how digital twins help industry and government maximize efficiency and optimize decision-making with real-time data integration. He shares how digital twin capabilities are advancing by incorporating Multi-agent GenAI systems (MAGS) that can solve operational challenges and sustain their digital twin.

Porter predicts that MAGS will contribute to business sustainability initiatives, as digital twins can predict resource usage and drive automated processes that can conserve energy, such as turning lights off when a room is unoccupied. Additionally, he believes interoperability will be key to how digital twins operate in the government space and that incoming AI legislation needs to find a balance between ethical transparency and technical innovation.�� �� �� �� �� �� �� �� ����

Porter further emphasizes how these trends will play a role in the increasing digital twin adoption.

“2024 saw a significant increase in digital twin adoption, reflecting organizations’ push to remain agile and responsive to the demands of the federal and commercial landscapes,” said Porter. “With the introduction of MAGS, increased focus on interoperability and strategic AI governance, 2025 will be the year that organizations can fully understand, manage, and leverage digital twin technology effectively for mission success.”

Porter anticipates incoming guidelines to promote interoperability in digital twins for government agencies. Interoperability saves both time and money by enabling the exchange of critical information and overcoming technological siloes. Additionally, AI legislation is likely to pass in 2025 which could impact MAGS if it is too restrictive, limiting its effectiveness.

Although AI legislation is necessary to ensure ethical use and privacy, too much can limit AI capabilities and reduce impactful applications such as biometrics within the healthcare industry. Future policies will play a crucial role in shaping the development of digital twins.
